How You Can Help Send Children To A Gluten-Free Summer Camp?

There’s an age-old saying that, in my opinion, has never been more true…“It’s better to give than to receive.” The holiday season is the perfect time for you to give back to the community.

The spirit of the giving season, I want to bring your attention to a fundraiser I’m helping promote this week for a great gluten-free cause. This week only, giving just $2 of your hard-earned money will go toward providing scholarships for children to attend a gluten-free summer camp hosted by the Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF) next summer in Southern California.

But this week, donating $2 doesn’t mean you’re just donating $2…This week through Sunday, December 25, Gluten-Free Saver has partnered with Van’s Natural Foods to raise money to send children to next summer’s CDF-sponsored summer camp, and Van’s is matching all donations up to $1,000! The goal is to raise $2,000 – and when you donate $2, you’re really contributing $4. You can read more about the fundraiser here: www.glutenfreesaver.com.

The summer camp will be held in San Bernardino in Southern California from July 30 to August 3, 2012, and it’s open to all 7-15 year old gluten intolerant and gluten-sensitive children – not just those diagnosed with celiac disease.

Sure, receiving gifts this time of year is always fun, but the feeling of knowing that your generous donation of just $2 can bring a tremendous amount of joy to a young child… well, now that’s priceless.

Please help reach the goal of donating $2,000 to the Celiac Disease Foundation this week. Every $2 helps. YES! I want to help send a child to a gluten-free summer camp and donate $2 right now!

P.S. 100% of all donations will go directly to CDF.

P.P.S. If you’re feeling extra generous this holiday season, you aren’t limited to donating just $2 – you can give as much money as your heart desires!

Gluten Free Getaways- Travel Safely Gluten-Free

This is a terrific site for gluten-free getaways and traveling. Many of the old timers( those familiar with the gluten-free arena) are well aware of Bob and Ruth’s. These two have done a tremendous job in pioneering this area and setting up incredible getaways we can do in the comfort of other who also need a gluten-free diet.

You can now travel and eat gluten-free meals, desserts, snacks and even beer safely and without any hassle at all. It all depends on your trip and what may be planned or even what you request. Read on!

Bob Levy was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in February, 1995. Just a few months after being diagnosed, he began arranging gluten-free dinners at restaurants in the Baltimore area as well as gluten-free getaways to the Caribbean. People  participated in these dinners and trips soon suggested that Bob should be a full-time endeavor.

It took a while for the concept to develop, but in November of 1998 Bob & Ruth’s published the first newsletter and were off and running. All their efforts have one goal in mind -” to make your life as a Celiac as normal and enjoyable as possible.” This is exactly what they have accomplished and continue to do.

Check out all the details of mini getaway and all of the other  gluten-free getaways we are currently offering on their website http://bobandruths.com

This Gluten-Free Website Is A Nominee With Only 9 Others for Best Website Out of 6.5 Million Others!

I have never posted anything on this site asking for help to anyone in the GF arena ever before,  yet due to the circumstances I feel the need. We all can “win” in the gluten-free and celiac domain, with that which I am sharing with you below.

Afilias, the owners of the .INFO chose my gluten-free help website and 9 other sites (over 6.5 million .INFOs) and started a “contest” for the best .INFO website of 2010 on October 6th, 2010. This contest goes on only until November 2nd.

I sell nothing on this site. It was started and continues from my heart and my desire to help others after my own many  painful years of misdiagnosis and road to no answers. I work with MANY professionals in this field, interview and promote many of them on radio shows and many of them as well write on my site monthly. This site helps get many off drugs- proof of testimonies sent in, helps many get properly diagnosed, helps share the truth about gluten and celiac disease, helps many learn about gluten issues and celiac disease, helps many children and issues with trouble in school stemming from this physical situation not”mental” and has united many wonderful tops in their fields with one another,  just to name a few points.

The voting requires you simply 1) go to this link http://www.info-award.info/ 2) then register by sharing a name and email on  two lines only 3) then they send you a password in a few moments and a link where you then vote for my www.GlutenFreeHelp.info website. You are entered in a drawing for a free iPad for voting which they threw in for some added incentive and fun.

Please share this news BROADLY. I give you permission to copy this text now.

You can also help by going to the their Afilias facebook page (owners of .INFO) and post a post on their page stating BROADLY , WHY this site, GlutenFreeHelp .info should be their winner! The judges will be making the final decision. http://www.facebook.com/dotINFO

Again, this will be a huge win for many people involved directly and indirectly should WE win. I mean WE, as this celiac community is the most amazing group of people which I work with and for.

Thank you Everyone!
