Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Krisps

One of my favorites is Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Krisps. These little, flat, oval chips currently come in four flavors, Sour Cream & Onion, Nacho, Sea Salt & Pepper, and Barbeque. They are very light. In fact, 35 chips have only 120 calories—perfect for anyone watching their calories.

The chips are made with brown rice flour and are gluten-free and made without saturate fat.

I toss them in a simple baggy pouch, and I’m good to go. They are delicious and true to their name, crispy and crunchy, but light.

In 1994, TH Foods became the exclusive manufacturer of Usuyaki-style (Japanese for “thin and flat”) in North America. They are certified to be less than 10 ppm gluten. They are certified gluten-free by the Gluten -Free Certification Organization (GFCO).

Additional Notes:
Barbeque contains soy
Nacho contains milk, soy
Sour Cream and Onion contains milk

  1. Yes love these! I basically eat them as I would tortilla chips, with guacamole or salsa. I also like to melt cheese over them in the oven for some delicious gluten-free nachos. I bet you that if I wasn’t gluten free I would still eat these as they are so delicious and give you just the crunch you need!

  2. I really liked all the flavors but I think the plain is the best because you can eat it as you would a plain potato chip or tortilla chip, where you can pair it with pretty much any dip you can think of. I pack them in my daughters’ lunches and I often get exasperated with them for sharing these with their friends, who love them too and can’t tell that they’re gluten free LOL.

  3. These are really good, I agree, plus the low cal thing is an added bonus. I started gaining quite a bit of weight on the GF diet after I was diagnosed with celiac disease and so now I have to watch my calories! Now that I’m eating mostly meats and veggies and fruits though it hasn’t been so bad!

  4. Funny story, I was actually eating these before I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity! I was in the grief stage after learning I had to do without gluten, when my husband found these in the pantry and was like, “Hey, Beth, you can still eat these!” I still love them so much. The salt is especially good to me when I sweat so much during the summertime!

  5. Hi Tina I love Mr. Krispers. My kids eat them every day after school with some homemade salsa. They are always so drained and starving after school but I don’t want them to spoil their appetite, and a little snack like this is exactly what they need.

  6. I couldn’t pass by a review of Mr. Krispers and not leave a comment! These are great! I leave these out at get-togethers at my home (movie nights and game board nights) and every last chip is gone. And these are non-celiac people who can eat whatever they want, but nooooo they have to eat all of our Mr. Krispers down to the last bite every time!

  7. Glad to see you recommending this! I was so disappointed when I became gluten-free because I had to give up my beloved barbecue potato chips but Mr. Krispers BBQ Rice Krisps are soooo good! I feel that I finally have the perfect substitute after all these years. I don’t even have cravings anymore for anything else, just these.

  8. These are great snacks! I eat these all the time and leave them out at parties with various gluten free dips. They’re always a hit!

  9. I used to order Mr. Krispers via Amazon but they’ve been unavailable forever. I started looking around online and they appear to be discontinued. Anyone else having any luck finding Mr. Krispers in local stores??
