Only Oats – Wow, Gluten Free Oats!

Only Oats is simply that – only oats. There is no other grain in any of their products. I was honored to test a number of this company’s products. I had no idea oats could be made into so many ready-made mixes without another grain, resulting in our palates being quite surprised and satisfied. I was so pleased we decided to have an Only Oats Give-Away!

The oatmeal cookies were absolutely delicious, light, and not at all overly sweet. The pancakes tasted like a light “whole grain”—yes, sweet wheat—pancake. I have a unique oatmeal cookie recipe sent in to me by a tester using Only Oats as well as a pancake and unusual chocolate chip oat cookie. All extremely delicious!

The Decadent Chocolate Muffin Mix muffins were rich and delicious. The surprising point in their mixes was that they didn’t taste like a “substitute” to the real thing, yet my testers and I agreed they all tasted truly healthy and good. We felt we could eat more and not feel guilty. We only knew we had been missing out on something—truly good tasting oat mixes.

The Quick Oats taste like Quaker Quick Cooking Oats, but with flavor, not cardboard-like and without the need for a load of toppings—healthy, hearty, and flavorful.

The company is located in Canada with a dedicated GF facility. The products go through many stringent steps from the farming all the way to leaving the facility’s doors. The strictest testing is along every channel with each supplier needing to supply a letter of guarantee or certificate of analysis declaring all products to be gluten-free with no other allergen present.

They have well-educated staff in their state-of-the-art allergy-free manufacturing plant, who care about adhering to the gluten-free standards that have been set. Based on what I’m told, we can be guaranteed all oats fall under the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO, US). The R5 ELISA test is used every step of the way. Their oats are proven to be less than 10 ppm!

This company offers every type of oat imaginable, including mixes that are not only delicious but also very nutritious. Their website supplies additional printable recipes as well as videos. The oats are quick  to prepare and versatile in many dishes and meals, offering the health benefits of the grain which many celiacs are lacking, such as fiber and oils.

Quite an innovative company! We are really pleased to share our rave reviews about each and every one of these mixes! www.onlyoats.com. Be sure and enter their generous give-away.

  1. Thanks so much Tina for featuring this company. I love to bake and am always looking for healthier, feel-good ingredients and recipes.

  2. If these were delivered to my house I think they would be perfect for blueberry muffins!! It is so nice to have oats again! YUM!

  3. I am not a huge baker myself, as I don’t have a lot of time, so I’m always eager to try these pre-mixed recipes for the sake of time and convenience. I’m looking forward to trying Only Oats!

  4. Only Oats Maple Roasted Oats & Flax:
These are good! I usually do not like oatmeal, but this had a more interesting, hearty flavor, and I like the maple.

  5. Only Oats Apples & Cinnamon: This is surprisingly good. I usually only eat Quaker Oats (with all the artificial flavors, etc), and don’t like things that taste too “healthy”. This was delicious without an earthy flavor.

  6. Only Oats Decadent Chocolate Muffin Mix: AWESOME! This was my very favorite of all the Only Oats products, and I ate three muffins in a row. This was the favorite of my three younger brothers as well!

  7. Only Oats Steel Cut Oats: these had an extremely plain flavor, but I loved the crunchy/nuttyness about it. Next time I’d add honey or maple syrup and cinnamon. If I were to start eating oatmeal, I think this is the only kind I would eat.

  8. Of all the Only Oats products my 3-yr old tried, Apples & Cinnamon were his favorite. Usually he turns his nose up at oatmeal, but he loved this!

  9. Mmmm I can’t wait to give this company a try…the pancakes look great and I’m looking forward to trying the Quick Oats!

  10. I would love this company! Both the pancakes and the cookies look great. I would love to make some cookies indeed!

  11. I added ½ cup “Enjoy Life, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips” and ½ cup organic dried cranberries to the cookie mix..and it was divine! I didn’t feel guilty eating half the batch. 😉

  12. The Cookie Recipe was very light. It’s good and not too sweet. Very flaky…which is common in GF baking, but thankfully I enjoy that.
