3 Fellers Gluten-Free Bakery – Review

Being that I bake so much it takes a lot to knock me out of my socks. 3 Fellers Gluten-free Bakery did just that. That being said let me tell you a little about this dedicated certified gluten-free company (yes certified).

It all started when Susan Feller, avid baker and loving mother, was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2006.  After her failed search for good gluten-free desserts Susan decided to give gluten-free baking a shot and used her sons as her taste testers. Susan realized how many others there were who were in search of good gluten-free baked goods as well. This fired up her desire to bake for others. After outgrowing her bakery in Richmond 3 Fellers moved to a retail gluten free bakery to keep up with their high demand.

From brownies to cake-pops to dinner rolls and more 3 Fellers doesn’t have a single product I didn’t like. If I had to pick a favorite I would have o go with their gluten-free chocolate peanut butter brownies.  These brownies are too good to be true. They taste so homemade and melt in your mouth. I definitely licked my fingers on this one!

The shelf life is quite good on all their products. You can store them in the freezer for 4-5 months or the refrigerator for 10-14 days.  I actually had to check the ingredients on the products because I didn’t believe they were gluten-free. They tasted like the real deal. Each product is in its own personal sized container too which helps with keeping your desserts fresh longer.

My testing team loved 3 Fellers. We all agreed that they have really taken the time to make wonderful products. 3 Fellers are sure to have a product for everyone and anyone. Cookies, mini-pies, brownies, dinner rolls and the list goes on. Each one aesthetically beautiful as well.

I had the chance to speak with one of the Fellers. His passion for making great products was very noticeable as well as the love, care and dedication to help the celiac and gluten-free communities. This is the reason why business is booming for 3 Fellers.

I could go on and on about how delicious all the products were but that would just leave my laptop with a saliva puddle! Look for 3 Fellers in your local grocery store and if they don’t carry it request that they do: 3 Fellers Bakery.

Time for me to go eat a 3 Fellers gluten-free mini-pie!

  1. I found them in Earth Fare and I am in trouble!! Their coconut cream pie is incredible…as well as their chocolate peanut butter brownie….I haven’t had anything from them that I didn’t enjoy! So glad you found them

  2. Hi!

Good article. The Richmond area and beyond has another awesome GF bakery, AnnaB’s Gluten Free. They are pretty widely available in stores here and in some restaurants.

    Thanks!
