John A. Sexson Auditorium – main performing arts venue on the campus of the Pasadena City College.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the distinguished conductor of the Pasadena City College Orchestra.
On October 30th, as part of a very special “family” concert that the Orchestra will perform to an audience of 2,000, we will be releasing the Danny the Dragon DREAMS CD and the “Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy” DVD (sign interpretation for the deaf). The CD which also features the “Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy” audiobook, is composed of beautiful classical music, and one of the classical pieces will be performed live for the first time ever at the concert.
Profits from the sales of the CD will be generously donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University Medical Center, to support Dr. Peter Green’s research and efforts to raise celiac awareness.
Profits from the sales of the DVD will be donated to the Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf.
The concert promises to be a wonderful event. It is the Orchestra’s most sought-after and prestigious concert of the year. More details to come!

This is terrific new Tina. I am for sure going to attend this event. I read the news in a Press Release that your son wrote a theme song for your book and the Pasadena conductor heard it! Is this how you both are involved in this lovely event? What a story! I hope to have the honor to meet you Tina. Thnaks, Marci
I just read about this Family Event in the newspaper. They mention that anyone in costume gains entrance for FREE. You shouod promote this too Tina. This will be a great night and I hope to meet you and to buy a CD! JE
Tina,
You are so talented. I just came form your http://TinaTurbin.com site. How do you find the energy to do all you do? I listened to a few of your radios interviews. I love your views and love what you are doing and sharing. I do not live in California, but if I did I would attend. Thanks for doing all you do and caring for families and children. Mary Bell
I just saw this same announcement on your Danny the Dragon website, http://www.dannythedragon.com, and I was so excited! Celiac research really needs all the help you can get, and I only hope that other artists such as yourself will follow in your footsteps and dedicate proceeds from their own projects. I just want to say thank you for all your doing. I have been very inspired by your recipes and everything you do. I will be cooking up some yummy gluten free cupcakes for my son, Tyler, this Halloween. Thanks, Tina:) You’re really an inspiration!
