Gluten-Free, Grain-Free Pumpkin Seed Basil Pesto

I’d like to thank Sun Power Cafe in L.A. for this gluten-free, grain-free recipe that’s also raw. Try it with your favorite gluten-free or grain-free pasta.

INGREDIENTS

6 c fresh basil

1/3 c pumpkin seed (soaked 4 hrs)

1 tbsp lemon

2 cloves garlic

1/3 c extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp ground black pepper

 

DIRECTIONS

Blend all ingredients together for 30 to 40 seconds.
